As you can probably imagine, we were just a little bit excited to learn that we’re considered Australia’s hottest startup by Adeo Ressi, the founder of the Founder Institute.
Australia's hottest #startup is @Blrt - find out why Click To Tweet
This great news was delivered during the recording of ‘This Week in Startups Australia’, a fortnightly podcast recorded at the legendary Fishburners workspace by Mark Pesce. The podcast features in-depth interviews with Australian technology entrepreneurs. Mark (former judge of the ABC’s ‘The New Inventors’ and himself a bit of a legend) interviewed our CEO and Founder Anurag Chakradhar about the origins of Blrt, the startup balancing act, and our plans for setting the world on fire by helping people collaborate better remotely.
Adeo, who is one of Silicon Valley’s most prominent investors in early-stage technology companies, was brought out to Australia by the Sydney Seed Fund for a visit that included meetings with investors and entrepreneurs across Sydney and Melbourne. It was at an event run by Julio De Laffitte’s entrepreneurs network, the Unstoppables that Blrt caught Adeo’s eye. Considering he fields up to 50 startup pitches a day, having Adeo single Blrt out for praise as Australia’s hottest startup has really made our week.
The podcast, which also features the founders of VinoMofo and GoFar, is included below, or at: http://twistartupsaus.tumblr.com
